.44 Magnum Chili

It's a smokin gun.

Yield: 10 Servings


1 lb pork,ground lean
2 1/2 lb ground beef
1 1/2 lb onions,chopped
1 lb green peppers,chopped
5 c tomatoes,chopped
15.5oz can chili beans

1/2 T Xtra Virgin Olive Oil
2 garlic cloves
a palmful parsley,chopped
1/3 cup chili powder
A pinch of salt
1 1/2 pepper
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup water

In a large pot, brown beef and pork together. Takes about 15 minutes. Drain fat from beef-pork mixture then add back to skillet, stir in Tomatoes and simmer 5 min.

Saute Green Peppers, and Onion in Oil until tender, Stir frequently. Combine with beef pork mixture.

Add garlic, and parsley to onion mixture and stir in Chili
powder. Cook 10 min and add drained beans to the mixture.
Season with Salt, Pepper, Cumin seeds. Add water, Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook 45 minutes.

Top with crackers, and cheddar cheese. Enjoy
